Volunteer Policy
1. Introduction
Ojeev Foundation (“Foundation”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a registered Section 8 Company dedicated to creating positive and sustainable social impact through education, healthcare, women empowerment, environmental conservation, animal welfare, elderly care, heritage preservation, temple restoration, historical preservation, and community development.
Our volunteers are the backbone of our mission. They contribute their time, skills, knowledge, compassion, and dedication to improve the lives of individuals and communities across India.
This Volunteer Policy establishes the standards, responsibilities, rights, expectations, and ethical principles governing every volunteer associated with Ojeev Foundation.
By registering as a volunteer, every individual agrees to comply with this policy.

7. Volunteer Responsibilities
Every volunteer shall:

Any act of harassment may result in immediate removal.
12. Protection of Elderly Beneficiaries
Volunteers working with elderly persons shall:

- Never pressure beneficiaries into donations or purchases.
- Report abuse or neglect immediately.
13. Animal Welfare Activities
Volunteers participating in animal welfare programs must:

- Follow veterinary instructions.
- Respect wildlife laws.
- Report injured animals responsibly.
- Never exploit animals for publicity.
14. Heritage and Temple Preservation
During heritage conservation or temple preservation activities, volunteers shall:

- Follow archaeological and local authority guidelines.

- Maintain cleanliness.
15. Environmental Responsibility
Volunteers should:

16. Confidentiality
Volunteers may access confidential information including:

Such information shall not be disclosed without authorization.
This obligation continues even after volunteering ends.
17. Data Protection
Volunteers handling personal information shall:

18. Social Media Policy

19. Photography and Media

20. Health and Safety

Volunteers shall:

21. Conflict of Interest

22. Anti-Bribery

Only nominal appreciation gifts may be accepted where permitted.
23. Donations
Volunteers shall never:
- Collect donations without authorization.

Only authorized representatives may collect donations.
24. Use of Foundation Property
Foundation property including:

- Equipment
- ID Cards
- Digital Assets
- Vehicles
- Office Resources
must be used solely for official purposes.
25. Attendance
Volunteers should:
- Inform supervisors if unable to attend.
- Arrive on time.
- Complete assigned tasks responsibly.
Repeated unexplained absence may result in discontinuation.
26. Volunteer Recognition
Ojeev Foundation values volunteer contributions.
Eligible volunteers may receive:
- Appreciation Certificates
- Experience Letters
- Recommendation Letters
- Recognition Awards
- Public Appreciation
- Training Opportunities
Recognition remains entirely at the discretion of the Foundation.
27. Termination of Volunteering
The Foundation may suspend or terminate volunteer engagement for reasons including:
- Misconduct

- Criminal activity
- Harassment
- Fraud
- Misrepresentation
- Confidentiality breaches
- Unsafe behaviour
- Conflict of interest
- Damage to Foundation reputation
Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary.
28. Limitation of Liability
While Ojeev Foundation takes reasonable precautions to provide a safe volunteering environment, volunteers participate at their own risk, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The Foundation is not responsible for personal belongings lost, damaged, or stolen during volunteer activities.
29. Amendments
This Volunteer Policy may be updated periodically to reflect legal, operational, or organizational changes.
